Professional Experience
1987 – 2000: County Attorney for Russell County, Alabama. Legal representation and supervision of all state and federal grant projects; handle all legal services for condemnation and real estate acquisition and relocation related to county development projects; prosecute and/or defend all assigned county litigation; provide legal opinions on the legality of county involvement in all county activities.
1985 – 1995: Special Assistant Attorney General. Represented the Department of Transportation in the condemnation real property and relocation of property owners involved in state and federal highway projects in Russell County. Services included title examinations, real estate closings, condemnation in Probate and Circuit Courts, relocation and project documentation with appropriate authorities.
August 1979 – Present: Private practice oflaw in Phenix City, Alabama. General Practice with major emphasis on personal injury, real estate and corporate matters.
Spring and Fall Quarters, 1980: Instructor, Troy State University, Phenix City, Alabama.
